A Gift Honouring Shared Heritage: “Illuminating the Spirit of 1776”

The Australian Society of Mayflower Descendants, Inc. is delighted to announce a meaningful and generous gift from our friends, Capt. James Cook Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The Chapter has kindly donated a hardcopy booklet entitled “Illuminating the Spirit of 1776,” a publication that celebrates the enduring legacy, ideals, and courage born out of the American Revolution. This thoughtful gesture is far more than the presentation of a historical publication - it is a symbol of shared heritage, mutual respect, and the enduring bonds between organisations dedicated to preserving history.

The themes contained within the booklet resonate deeply with our Society’s own mission.
